Introduction

FoneTrans is the versatile iOS transfer software to assist users to manage iOS data files on iPad, iPhone and iPod in all-around. It can export media files (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Podcasts, iTunes U, Ringtones, Audio Books and Voice Memos), Playlist, Photos, Photo Album and Books to iTunes (Photos & Photo Album excluded) or PC. It can also import all these files (except SMS) from computer/iOS device to your iOS device. Moreover, it supports all iOS devices ( iOS 6 or above).

System Requirement

Update & Uninstall

Update File

Go to Menu > Check Update... to check for the latest software. If it has an update version, this program will pop up a window to notify you. You can click "Check Update" to directly download and install the latest installation file.

Uninstall the Program

If you do not want to have this app on your computer, just simple clicks can totally remove it.

Method One: Click Windows Start menu, go to "All Programs", find "FoneTrans", and select "Uninstall".

Method Two:
Windows XP: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Uninstall Programs > FoneTrans > Uninstall.
Windows 7: Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > FoneTrans > Uninstall
Windows 8: Settings > Control Panel > Programs > FoneTrans > Uninstall.

Registration

Click "Register" on the upper right corner of the main interface to open the registration window or choose the "Register" option in the Help menu, then you just need to input the two needed contents listed below and click "Register" Button to finish registration.

NOTE:
After you purchased it successfully, the registration code will be sent to your email address that you filled in the order form.
Email Address: The email address that you fill in the order form.
Registration Code: A string of characters marked as Activation key, license code or KEYCODE(S) in the order confirmation letter you received after the successful purchase.

Set Preference

Click "Menu" -> "Preferences" option to open Preferences Window, which allows you to set the following options for better user experience:

General:

iTunes Temporary Folder: Select a storage location for iTunes temporary files.
Update Settings: Here you can let this app automatically check for program updates or not. If choose automatically update, you can also set for the update time interval (Every Day/Every Week/Every Month).

Convert

When you convert non-apple formats to iDevices supported formats. You can choose High Quality, Normal Quality or Low Quality before conversion. Normal Quality is recommended.
High Quality: The converted video will take up more space and the conversion will take longer time.
Low Quality: The converted video will take up less space and the conversion will take shorter time.

Contacts

Name Order: You can order the output contacts by language automatically, by "First name, last name" or by "Last name, first name".

Transfer Files from Computer to iOS Devices

It supports transferring Music, Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Podcasts, iTunes U, Ringtones, Audio Books, Voice Memos, Playlist, Photos, Photo Album, Books and Contacts.
Here we take photos for example.

1. Run the software, connect your iOS device to computer via USB. Once detected, the current device name will be displayed on the interface of program.

2. Click the node of Photos on the left and then click the drop-down arrow of "Add" to select "New Album" to add album and you can name the Album as you like, then click the "Add Item" to add photos to the new album. Select "New Folder" to add photo folders as Album.

Tips: To add photos to specific Album, you need to select the Album first and then click "Add" image button to add photos.

Import Files from One iOS Device to Another

It supports transferring Music, Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Podcasts, iTunes U, Ringtones, Audio Books, Voice Memos, Playlist, Photos, Photo Album, Books and Contact.
Here we take transferring Photos from iPad 2 to iPhone 5C for example.

Step 1. Run the software, connect iPad 2 and iPhone 5C to computer via USB one by one.

Step 2. Then select Photos or Album in iPad 2 you need to transfer. After selection, click "Export to" and select your device name and then transfer these photos from iPad 2 to iPhone 5C.

Transfer Files from iOS device to Computer/iTunes

It supports exporting Music, Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Podcasts, iTunes U, Ringtones, Audio Books, Voice Memos, Playlist, Photos, Photo Album, Books, Contact and SMS to computer. For iTunes, you can export Music, Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Podcasts, iTunes U, Ringtones, Audio Books, Voice Memos, Books, Playlist only.
Here we take Music for example.

1. Run the software, and connect your device to computer via USB.

2. Click "Media" and select music on the top of the right column and then select one specific Playlist or select certain Music. If you want to export several musics, you can tick the frame before the music or press Ctrl on your keybord and then select music one by one. At last, you can click "Export to" image button to export files to computer/iTunes.

With all the following tools, you can export or restore all files with no selection of file type or numbers.

To iTunes: Export all supported files to iTunes at one time.
To Folder: Export all files on your devices to your local computer with one click.
To iDevice: You can transfer all your files from one of your device to another with no select.
Backup Contacts: Easy to backup all your contacts to your computer.
Restore Contacts: You can restore all backup contacts from your computer to your device.
Find Duplicate Contacts: It can help you find out duplicate contacts and merge them.
